Eagle Platforms are delighted to welcome three incredibly valued new employees to our team including a brand new training manager. This expansion is immensely important in the light of our newly confirmed CITB Training Centre, allowing us to cope with the ever-expanding demand for our many training programmes, which continue to be the envy of the competition.
Let’s take a closer look at the new members of the Eagle Platforms team, welcoming them into the fold.
New Training Manager: Jamie Fleetwood
Taking on the role of Training Manager is Jamie Fleetwood, who with almost 10 years of experience will bring vital enthusiasm, knowledge and expertise to the team. He has previously sat on the IPAF committee as an independent instructor, which will no doubt stand him in excellent stead to impart great wisdom and technical nous on his colleagues and our valued clients alike. It is great to be able to gain the perspective of someone who has worked for one of the two great working at height training accreditors. In his private life, Jamie is an avid Star Wars fan and with his IPAF committee experience and our many years of experience on the training side, his appointment could go some way to binding the galaxy together!

New Service Foreman: Dave Morley
The role of a service foreman is a vital one. They are in charge of supervising and coordinating the crew and making sure things go smoothly and efficiently. As such it is important that our service foreman Dave Morley comes with 15 years of plant experience that will stand him in good stead in his new role. He comes straight from JCB, where he accrued 9 years of valuable experience and learnt a great deal about the position. In his spare time he enjoys (endures) following the Bradford Bulls – the frustration of which will lend him the requisite patience for dealing with any problems that could arise in the workplace. He will be invaluable when it comes to servicing needs and ensuring our sky high service standards remain in place.

New Senior Engineer: Chris Dent
Our new senior engineer, Chris Dent is a hugely welcome addition to the Eagle Platforms team. He joins with the benefit of almost two decades of experience gained working in the access industry. He’s worked with enormous multinational rental companies and small independent operations alike, giving him a broad spectrum of understanding and an enormous level of competency in dealing with the wide array of challenges the role will bring. Chris’ knowledge of all manner of machines from 135s to smaller pop up machinery, Chris has seen it all and being CAP certified he is fully covered to carry out LOLER examinations. Out of work, Chris is a big football fan and his patience is well honed (and sorely tested) by being an avid Sheffield Wednesday follower. Just don’t mention the current success of their city rivals: that might prove too much!
