It is always a pleasure to be able to write these posts to introduce the latest member of the Eagle Platforms family. A lot of work goes into our recruitment as we pride ourselves on our team, their hunger, drive and professionalism. With this in mind we are delighted to be able to introduce our new Head of Training, Callum Batty.
Callum brings with him an impressive 20 years of experience in training, people management and office skills that will serve him very well in his new role with Eagle Platforms. He has been working for the last few years as an IPAF/PASMA instructor, both for another company and more recently on a self-employed basis in Lancashire and elsewhere in the north of England. Callum is a qualified IPAF and PASMA instructor and has an NVQ level III & IV in training and development – all of which makes him perfectly suited to the role we have offered him.
In this role with Eagle Platforms, Callum will manage and oversee the training programmes that we offer. It will fall on Callum’s shoulders to identify training and employee development needs as well as creating training materials and the implementation of staff training programmes. At Eagle Platforms we understand the importance of keeping our training in-line with the steady rate of progress in the field and Callum will help ensure that Eagle Platforms’ training programmes are at the vanguard of the industry’s progress.
Having worked “hands on” in training will give Callum a great deal of insight into the varying needs and requirements of his colleagues and allow him to offer a high level of support when required.
The Eagle Platforms team offer a wide range of courses from IPAF, PASMA and Telehandler Training to Health and Safety, First Aid and Working at Height training.
